SPS Member Profile

I am a Russian born oil and pastel artist. I took an oil workshop in 2001 with Lous Griffel, a former director of Cape Cod School of Art established by American artist Charles Hauthorne in 1898. I was influenced by this school teacher Henry Hensche's works, his approach to color in outdoor paintings and by the works of Lois Griffel, modern impressionist. I also developed my own technique in oil pastels. In 2010 I moved to US and started working in soft pastels.
