Jennifer (Kern) Keeler was born in 1953, and grew up in Harvard, Massachusetts.

She began drawing and painting at an early age, and, being inspired by visits to art museums in Boston and New York, knew that art was her passion. She began a career in illustration and design, later transitioning to still life and landscape painting in oils. In 2024, she took a class in pastel painting and fell in love with the medium.

Now living in the Blue Ridge Mountains of South Carolina, her art is representative of her local surroundings and the sea and sky of the Atlantic Coast.
