SPS Member Profile

Hope Hanes lives and works in western Loudoun County, Virginia as an artist and teacher. She earned her BFA from Carnegie Mellon University, where she focused on painting and printmaking, and her MAT in Museum Education from The George Washington University. Her award-winning work includes studio and plein air paintings as well as abstract compositions.
