SPS Member Profile

My first passion in the fine arts has been music, and as a flutist I have played for many receptions, weddings, gallery openings, concerts, and other occasions. Professionally, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and retired in 2019 after 40 years in the profession to pursue my dreams of traveling with my husband, and making art and music. A self-taught artist, I began painting 18 years ago, initially favoring acrylic and more recently working primarily in pastels. I have been able to attend workshops with Lyn Asselta and Margaret Dyer, and their talent has helped me tremendously. I look forward to continuing this artistic journey!
