IAPS MC Pastelist Deana Goldsmith is a self taught artist. Growing up in Oklahoma she spent her youth watching the birds, photographing and sketching them. She has always had a fascination with relics from the past, and her prop collection is ever growing. Through her still life drawings, she tries to bring the viewer into a vintage world where nature comes to play. Each piece begins with an old object, flora or fauna. From there a story begins to take shape.
