AUGUST 6, 20 & 27 (3 weeks) • 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. – $150

Students may choose to work with either oils or soft pastels. We’ll explore drawing, composition, proportion, value, color and expression in your chosen medium. We’ll work with live models and from your photos. On days we have a model, model fees are additional and will be paid directly to model during class. Maximum 12 students.
Margaret Dyer is an award winning member of the American Impressionist Society (AIS) and the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society (NOAPS). She is a Master Pastelist with the Pastel Society of America (PSA-M), and is in the Masters Circle of the International Association of Pastel Societies (IAPS-MC). Margaret has been featured in American Artist, International Artist, The Artists Magazine and The Pastel Journal. She travels the USA, France, Italy, Canada and Ireland to teach her painting and pastel workshops.

Tuesday Painting under the Pavilion with Margaret Dyer
Tuesdays, June 2, 9, 23 (3 weeks).
You can paint in oils or soft pastels, whichever you prefer.
Where: Becky Ward’s covered outdoor pavilion

When: Tuesdays, June 2, 9, 23 (3 weeks), 9:30 am-1:30 pm
Class Fee: $150
Parking: On N. Highland or Cumberland
What to bring:
• a portable easel.
• bring your own small table.
• We will have floor fans, but an individual personal battery-operated fan might be helpful.
• You can leave your easel & table there under the pavilion when you leave for the day, but take your art supplies home with you.
• Bug spray

I am continuing ongoing beginner to advanced pastel classes at Spruill Center for the Arts in Dunwoody as well as Alpharetta Cultural Arts Center during the week and a new additional class on Sunday afternoons at Spruill. Great group of people, please join the fun!!
